Our client is a small manufacturer in Oak Creek, WI looking to add a permanent Supply Chain Manager to their team. We’re seeking an individual with at least 10 years in supply chain with prior management and manufacturing industry experience. You will supervise a small team of supply chain professionals driving strategic planning and maximizing efficiency at the company. The position is full-time and hybrid with on-site days Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays. Please apply for immediate consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, aligning with company goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a small team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure the timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production schedules, balancing inventory levels with customer demand.
• Implement inventory management best practices to minimize carrying costs while maintaining adequate stock levels to support production and customer orders.
• Optimize logistics and distribution processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain operations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
• 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends, with the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex challenges.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
